Personally having held both leadership and business development roles with Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 businesses, in addition to entrepreneurial efforts owning several businesses and founding one of the largest non-profit IT Professional groups in Charlotte, North Carolina called The Ballantyne IT Professionals helps us best understand the technology marketplace.

Was fortunate to be the Director of Sales for both Level 3 Communications and tw telecom in Charlotte North Carolina where I was recognized as the top Director of Sales in for Level 3 Communications in the Regional Enterprise Division and was awarded the company’s highest honor – President’s Club.  We know how to speak sales and negotiation.

Lucky enough to help lead, coach and manage 7 President’s Club sales team members. In my career I held business development roles with MCI WorldCom, tw telecom (formerly Time Warner Telecom), NuVox Communications and Windstream Hosted Solutions where I achieved President Club Honors 4 times for being in the top 1% in the company. 

Several years ago Charlotte was starving for a technology group on the south side of town which was one of the fastest growing communities in the city and still is today.  I currently hold the position of founder and chairman of the board of the Ballantyne IT Professionals a 501c4 Non-Profit Technology Professional group in Charlotte, North Carolina. As Chairman, I am responsible for hosting and leading our 16 Board of Advisors, CIO Roundtable and CISO Roundtable events. 

Our monthly events gives me access to the best CIO’s, CTO’s, CISO’s and technology leaders in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am also active in many IT organizations in Charlotte and was awarded the highest honor by the Ballantyne IT Professionals, their “The President’s Award” from the board of directors. 

I enjoy spending time with my family, outdoor activities and reminiscing about my days as a student/athlete when I played college football at John Carroll University in Cleveland Ohio.

Having worked for these tech companies in the past has helped me best understand what our clients need to be successful with their next technology project.
